Before you decide you want a payment holiday, it is important you understand the impact of this on your mortgage payments. Enter details of your mortgage below to see what the impact of a mortgage payment holiday could be on your monthly mortgage payments, when the payment holiday ends.
Before you start
The figures we will show you are based on some assumptions:
If your mortgage has multiple parts, the calculation will assume all the parts have the same interest rate, term and repayment type - you may have more than one part, for example, if you've taken an additional loan after your mortgage began. This may have a different term and/or interest rate to your main mortgage part.
Not sure where to find this? You can check on your latest mortgage statement or by logging in to your online mortgage account (not available for BTL customers).
In order to process your payment holiday we may need to call you to complete an income and expenditure check with you which will help us understand your current financial situation. This will include discussing details of any regular source of income and any regular outgoings.

If you would like us to assist you with this, call us on 0800 138 2401.
The payment the calculator will give you is based on the above assumptions, the accuracy of the information you provide and therefore is likely to be different to the actual payment calculated at the end of the payment holiday.
Your monthly mortgage payment will increase by approximately: £0.00
Please be aware that this illustration does not include any mortgage payment protection insurance premiums collected with your mortgage payment.
If you can afford to re-start your mortgage payments it's in your best interests to do so. Taking a payment holiday increases the cost of your mortgage as interest is accrued during the deferred payment period and recapitalised into your loan amount.
If you're happy to continue, move to step 2.
